Chiroptical methods are used which provide unique experimental date on chiral molecules independent on their size, including huge biomolecules (collaboration with the Department of Analytical Chemistry)

The research is mainly focused on the microbicidal effects of non-thermal plasma and its application in microbiology, medicine and food industry and on the effect of plasma on the surface properties of several materials, especially nanoparticles.
